At Belleville Area Humane Society we are dedicated to finding pets new loving families to call their own.

To visit adoptable pets, please stop by during our business hours: Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00am – 5:00pm or Sunday from 10:00am – 3:00pm.

If you would like to schedule an appointment to meet a pet who is in a foster home, please fill out our adoption questionnaire within the pets profile.

What is your adoption process?

Our adoption process is simple, we collect some basic information and then match you with your perfect pet. Our adoptions are same day, so your new furry family member will go home with you same day as adoption. We look forward to finding you a new roommate!

Stop by our adoption center during business hours Tuesday – Saturday from 10AM – 5PM and Sunday 10am – 3pm. We accept: Cash, Check, Credit, Debit, PayPal, and Venmo.

If you are wanting to visit a pet that is in foster care, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire and our placement counselors will be in contact with you to schedule a meet and greet visit.

How much does it cost to adopt from BAHS?

Please Note: All pets come spayed/neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccinated (if age appropriate), DHPP vaccinated and heartworm tested. Cats also receive FVRCP vaccinations, and FIV/FeLV testing.

The adoption fee helps us cover these costs and empowers us to provide you with a pet that is all set!
