Our adoption process is simple, we collect some basic information and then match you with your perfect pet. Our adoptions are same day, so your new furry family member will go home with you same day as adoption. We look forward to finding you a new roommate!

Stop by our adoption center during business hours Tuesday – Saturday from 10AM – 5PM and Sunday 10am – 3pm. We accept: Cash, Check, Credit, Debit, PayPal, and Venmo.

If you are wanting to visit a pet that is in foster care, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire and our placement counselors will be in contact with you to schedule a meet and greet visit.

Why Choose BAHS?

• Compassionate Care: All our animals are health-checked by our on staff veterinarian, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated.
• Support: Get tips and advice on pet care and training by our adoption staff
• Community Focused: By adopting from our shelter, you’re helping to reduce pet homelessness in our community and beyond.

Please Note: All pets come spayed/neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccinated (if age appropriate), vaccinated and heartworm tested. Cats also receive FVRCP vaccinations and FIV/FeLV testing.

The adoption fee helps us cover these costs and empowers us to provide you with a pet that is all set!
