Bags for Wags
May 4 @ 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
This year is more than just another fundraiser. It is a celebration of everything our community has built together! On Monday, May 4, 2026, the Belleville Area Humane Society will host the 10th Anniversary of Bags for Wags at the beautiful St. Clair Country Club, and we would be honored to celebrate this milestone with you.
Over the past decade, we have grown Bags for Wags from a fun idea into one of BAHS’s most anticipated annual events! Raising critical funds, introducing thousands of new supporters to our mission, and helping make possible the lifesaving work that happens in our shelter every single day. What started as a night of handbags and heart has become a tradition of compassion, generosity, and community.
This 10-year celebration will be our most exciting Bags for Wags yet! An evening filled with glamour, gratitude, and joy, all in support of the people and pets who need us most.
Event Highlights Include:
- Designer Handbag Raffle — Luxury, vintage, and statement bags so good you’ll need a bigger closet!
- Curated Silent Auction — Items you’ll love! Bidding wars you’ll remember. Need we say more?
- All-Inclusive Admission — $85 per guest includes reserved table seating, a buffet-style dinner, and two drink tickets.
Thanks to supporters like you, BAHS has spent the last 67 years expanding possibilities — offering shelter, medical care, adoption services, humane education, and safety nets for families and pets with nowhere else to turn. We are proud to be a 100% donor-funded nonprofit, receiving no government funding, and every life saved is made possible by people who choose to stand with us.
